Akash Malah

Mr. Akash Mallah, Vice-chairman of Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaaz (JSQM: a Sindhi Nationalist Organization) along with a JSQM Activist Mr. Noor Mohammad Khaskhelli, is forcedly disappeared (kidnapped by Intelligence Agencies of Pakistan) from Qasimabad, Hyderabad, Sindh. This act is made by the intelligence agencies for degrading the organization’s Freedom March to be held at Karachi on 7^th November 2009 (tomorrow).

JSQM’s Chairman, Mr. Basheer Khan Qureshi has been receiving threats continuously from Intelligence Agencies that if your party’s Freedom March at Karachi would not be canceled than you will see the dead body of Akash Mallah. Mr. Qureshi had also aware the Media about these threats received from Intelligence, in his press conference on 5^th November 2009.

In this regard, I would like to request you to please raise your voice against these kinds of inhuman and illegal activities done by Intelligence Agencies here at Pakistan and to insist the Chief Justice-Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mr. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take an immediate action against that terrorization.

Please, support us and take your immediate efforts regarding above-stated realities. The Freedom March of JSQM will be held tomorrow (7^th November 2009) and we are feared that they would kill Mr. Akash Mallah, as they have already threatened through their calls to JSQM Chairman, Basheer Qureshi.
